IDC – Moriah

About

The Moriah Collection is the flagship collection of the Israel Diamond Center (IDC).

The Moriah Collection was created in order to share the deep significance of the Jerusalem Stone. Originating from the world’s spiritual center, the Jerusalem Stone has been transformed into inspirational artifacts – physically keeping the Holy City close to one’s heart.

The Moriah Collection, IDC’s breathtaking line of limited-edition fine diamond jewelry, interlaces gold, the noblest of all metals, and diamonds, the hardest stones in the world, with the Jerusalem Stone to symbolize the City’s strength, value and supreme holiness for more than 3,000 years. As religious jewelry, the collection achieves this higher purpose, by interlacing precious materials representing Jerusalem’s enduring strength, value and holiness. Moriah is the Biblical name of the mountain on which Abraham first embraced the belief in One God, sowing the seed of three great faiths. And now, Moriah is a bejeweled amulet, a piece of religious jewelry, stirring attention with its beauty and spiritual message.

Every stone harvested on Mount Moriah and at the City of David for the Collection is cut and sorted, then designed in order to preserve its raw integrity. IDC’s skilled jewelry artisans meticulously plan and inlay the diamonds and gold in the stone by hand, to create a unique visual statement, never before attempted in a high quality, exclusive diamond jewelry collection. The Moriah Collection is comprised of limited edition religious jewelry and inspiring designs, which are numbered and documented in an accompanying Certificate of Authenticity, verifying the origin of the stone from Jerusalem: the city of passion, the City of Peace. The Israel Diamond Center( IDC)officially launched its flagship collection, “The Moriah Collection” in Jerusalem on Jerusalem Day at sunset on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, on the Hebrew date 28 Iyyar 5770.
